Northland Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) is thrilled to announce that contracts have officially been signed for the development of our new community center, in partnership with Axis Construction Group and Warman Architecture & Design.

This project represents a renewed and hopeful chapter in NTRC’s long-term vision to expand services and better serve our community. While the road to this point has not been without its challenges—including serious setbacks that tested our resilience—we are proud to say we’ve moved forward with determination, transparency, and the unwavering support of those who believe in our mission.

“This new space is a symbol of strength, perseverance, and possibility,” said Executive Director Catherine Huddleston. “It will give us a place to meet with participants and families year-round—regardless of weather—and to continue growing our impact in a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment. We are deeply grateful to Elliott Heitman and the entire team at Axis Construction Group for stepping in with such dedication, and to Kathy Warman of Warman Architecture & Design, whose vision helped bring this project to life.”

Though construction has not yet begun, this moment marks a critical milestone—and one we have reached thanks to the incredible commitment of our community. We are especially thankful to the donors, volunteers, families, and friends who stood by our side during the difficult moments and never gave up hope.
