Minnie may be new to NTRC this year, but she’s already carrying herself like she’s been part of the herd forever. With her quiet confidence and gentle presence, she’s quickly found her place in the barn—and in the hearts of everyone she meets.

Donated by her owner, Melanie Fido, Minnie is now proudly owned by NTRC board president Juliette Ritzman. We’re so grateful for the generosity that brought her here, and even more grateful for the impact she’s already making.

Minnie has a way of meeting each moment with calm assurance, helping participants feel safe, supported, and ready to try something new. Whether she’s working under saddle or connecting on the ground, she brings a steady, grounding energy that makes her an incredible partner in our program.

Sweet, dependable, and quietly special, Minnie may be one of our newest horses—but she already feels like she’s always belonged here.
