Location:
Kansas City Trapshooters Association
6420 NE 176th Street
Smithville, MO 64089

Check-In: 8:00 AM
Competition Begins: 9:00 AM

Trapshooting Events

Participants may register for one, two, or all three events. All events shoot 50 rounds:

Singles

Each shooter fires at targets launched from a single trap house at a consistent distance.

Doubles

Two targets are launched simultaneously, giving shooters an exciting additional challenge.

Handicap

Shooters compete from varying distances based on skill level or classification.

Registration

One Event: $65 per shooter
All Three Events: $150 per shooter
Annie Oakley Game: $25 per shooter

Teams will consist of five shooters. You may register a complete team or register individually.

Annie Oakley Game

Shooters compete one at a time, with each successful shot keeping them in the game. Miss your target and the next shooter may have the opportunity to eliminate you. The competition continues until only one shooter remains.

Participation is an additional $25 per shooter.

Winner will split the pot with NTRC.

Before taking possession, each winner must:

  • Provide the contact information needed to coordinate pickup

  • Visit Great Guns during its regular business hours

  • Present valid identification

  • Complete ATF Form 4473

  • Successfully complete all required background-check and eligibility requirements

  • Pay the required transfer fee

Great Guns is closed Sunday through Tuesday, so same-day or immediate pickup may not be available. Marlin, a firearms instructor, will collect the winners’ contact information and help coordinate the transfer process with Great Guns.

Winning the raffle does not guarantee that a firearm can legally be transferred. Firearms will only be released after all federal, state and local requirements have been satisfied. A winner who is ineligible or unable to complete the required transfer cannot take possession of the firearm.
